The Contract for a short-term holiday rental shall be made between The Client and Harkness Consulting Ltd.
Harbour House is let as holiday accommodation and does not create a Landlord and Tenant relationship within the meaning of the Rent Acts and The Contract will be governed by UK Law. It will be entered into when the deposit or full payment is processed and Harkness Consulting Ltd issue the booking confirmation in writing. The Contract will be subject to all the following conditions and it is The Client's responsibility to see that all rules are adhered to.
During peak season bookings we only accept Saturday to Saturday bookings
During low season short breaks may be available for three nights from Fri – Mon and for four nights from Mon - Fri. subject to availability at time of booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, your accommodation will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and we kindly ask that you depart by 10.00 am to allow us to prepare the house for the next guests.
A non returnable deposit of 30% of the rental cost is required at the time of booking accommodation, with the balance payable eight weeks before the arrival date
Full payment is required for bookings made within eight weeks of arrival
A booking will be held for 7 days to allow the deposit or full payment to be made as appropriate
When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email
